she picks me up whenever i feel down, i do the same for her.......if one feels down the other knows and just says the right thing to cheer the other up...she cheers me up/picks me up and I pick her up/cheer her up

I think that's really sweet. It's obviously genuine and heartfelt because it's not the perfect poem,but it's what you feel. You seem like a really lovely guy and Laura is lucky to have you. I like the part about your kids growing up with respect for people - there are too many parents who don't impress values like that on their kids. For a guy, you did great. Sounds like she's a great support and has your back. How about some other qualities? And lighten up on the cheese factor. Tell her one specific time where you thought she was gorgeous and you didnt say it, or when it occured to you that she was remarkable.

i think it was nice. some spelling errors. so do a spell check. other than that, it wasn't really romantic. i mean i got what you were trying to convey....but i would work on polishing it up. keep it focused to one thing. comparisons are nice, but don't over do them. and speak from the heart, don't try to make it something you think she might want to hear or read...because that is the feeling i got from this. i don't mean to be disrespectful... just honest. good luck man
