For January to October this year in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - I don't have statistics for England only) the market share of car brands is as follows:

Ford 15%
Vauxhall (GM) 13%
Volkswagen 8%
Peugeot 6%
Renault 6%
Toyota 5%
BMW 5%
Honda 4%
Citroën 4%
Audi 4%
Mercedes-Benz 3%
Nissan 3%
Fiat 2%
Others 22%


62 different car brands appeared in the official statistics.

Don't know percentage but there is a lot of fords, vauxhalls, citroen, toyota and renault.

These seem to be what you will see on the roads most of the time.

can honestly say that we have 100% cars over here apart from the vans buses lorries and the ford Ka.
