All rice is nutritionally OK. White rice is not as good for you as brown rice because white rice digest into glucose (sugar) where as brown rice is a more complex carbohydrate.
I suggest you Go with the brown when you have a choice.

The nutritional value of rice depends on the way it is cooked and the substances added to it during the cooking. One grain of cooked (brown) rice contains 22% sugar, protein, vitamin (A, E, B, D), essential minerals, fibers, calcium, iron and lysine.
These substances are highly concentrated in the brown rice with membrane and are found in smaller amounts in the white rice with skinned membrane. This is, to some extent is similar to wheat when it is used in full (wheat flour) and when the membranes are removed (white flour). The following table shows the precise components of the rice grain compared to the other grains.

No, white rice is fine. Certain Asian countries have some of the higher life spans rate in the world. However, brown rice is more healthy since it contains more significant dietary fiber and the germ contains many vitamins and minerals.

White rice is just somewhat devoid of nutritional value...
It is not BAD exactly, but brown rice is MUCH BETTER!!!
Many more nutrients and fiber! Although, it is harder to cook and I think a tad harder to eat... it is a trade off...
Also, white rice has a higher glycemic index than brown rice (like white flour versus whole wheat) that means that it raises your blood sugar more and that is not generally a good thing, especially for people who are trying to lose wieght...

Actually brown rice is better for you but most Asian people won't eat it. From what I'm told only the poor people in Asia eat brown rice. I don't know why, maybe it costs less.
