It all depends on how you define love. I 'love' all my friends, but I don't want to get married to them or anything! Love doesn't have to me romance... it can indeed just mean being close to someone and caring about them. Some people, however, might not be comfortable saying they 'love' their buddies... it depends on what love means to you. Men especially don't throw around the term too often, because women tend to read more into it than they should. Keep in mind there is a big difference between caring a lot about someone and being romantically interested in them.

I think you have self-esteem issues. Seeing that your screen name is "Depressed" i'm not surprised. Before you ask questions make sure you slow down and take out the time to write the question so that we understand what your trying to say. Your words are all over the place , and you have to spell a lot better too. I'm not trying to be mean I just wanted to be honest with you. Pick yourself up and start having more self-esteem. You don't need a screen name like the one you have. You should try changing it. That could be your first step.

Yes, I in no way shape or form still love my ex husband, but I do care for him as the father of my children. In fact, there are alot more people that I care for, then love.

There is a definite difference between being "in love" with somebody and "loving them". There is also a difference between being in love with someone and caring about them.

Yes, unfortunately. It's like they have love for you, but they're not in love with you.
