Actually, it's a fruit. Say's it right on the bottle. WOW. I thought it would be a vegetable as well.

I think most people would consider them to be vegetables (such as a pizza topping), but technically they are fruits since they contain seeds.

All fruits are fruit and vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which is employed for food.

In the superstore, fruits are usually picked out much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bad. Some of the fruit and vegetables are generally right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

They are classified as a" fruit" according to Wikipedia. However in my cookbook they are considered a 'fat'.
