I don't know but the George Foreman grill is a fabulous invention. I use it everyday. I find that regular sausages are gross on the grill but some lowfat ones don't come up too bad.
I make toasted sandwiches on my grill and they are just so good.

I have seen the amount of grease and fat that comes from sausage and bacon its disgusting to think we ate that before George Foreman came out with that wonderful grill...yes I think he's made more money with the grill than boxing ever could have paid him.

What do you think sausage is made from? Fat Pigs.
I would say he is making more money now than he did boxing. Meineke and his grill bring in the big buck. The ($$) purses weren't that large in the 70's compared to prices of today for a match.

They will still contain loads of the bad stuff when they are cooked, even on the lean mean grill machine. Like blood pressure monitors I think it would be a good idea to invent a fat content machine that we could buy to stab our food after it is cooked. That way we really can see what we are eating.

George Forman. Cooks faster, cleaner than on the stove because grease isn't spitting all over. Saves calories & fat because it runs off.

Buy better sausages...far less fat and water in them.
More money from the grills, and that's a fact he readily admits.

How much fat is in a sausage depends on the maker/butcher - choose yours with care! I don't expect for a moment that GF actually invented the thing; put your name to it and get royalties is the usual deal. Good luck to him; hope he makes a bundle!

yeah, it's gross to see how much fat and oil are in hamburger meat, sausage, and other meats. but it's good to know that afterwards, the food is "healthier". i have no idea about his salary though. i'm guessing he made more from boxing, but that's just me.
