friary for sleeping with the nun.... yes then after that he had problems with indulgences and so on (note indulgences aren't forgiving of sin just the punishment of sin know works can forgive sin just the Lords mercy) anyways howcome most protestants don't realize that the main reason he reformed was because he wanted some fun and when he was caught he didn't get it his way so he did what he did?

Because most people are not in the habit of questioning ANYTHING!
Especially religious people, it is one of the requirements...
It is the same reason why most religious people would much rather believe that some guy had visions of the future that were granted to him by GOD, as opposed to the much more believable option that he was Schizophrenic!
Of course, then they would have to question much more than just their religions... and we CAN'T have that apparently!

Well....if one has not fallen and come short of the glory of God one cannot very well reform ...so that's why he reformed. No man or woman walking the earth is without sin...we all need to reform. So what's your question ?
