What do you mean no physical proof? Have you seen the sky? Have you noticed how a tiny seed grows into a 100' oak tree? Have you looked at the stars at night?......How can you see all the wonders of the world and have a doubt? Even if you believe in the "big bang theory"......who created the first spec of dust to 'bang' together?
Who created human beings? Who created the sky, the earth, water, light? Without God there would be nothing.

In reality, the concept of "god" is just a fallback of stuff people cannot understand. Long ago, people could not figure out how people or the universe came to be, so people said some supernatural being is the 'Creator'.
If you went back to the medieval times and showed them a flashlight or a car, they'd say you were jesus back from the dead.
Nowadays, we know how humans and the universe was created (evolution and the big bang). We know the purpose of all life is to pass down your genes. Still, people believe in god. Many will say, "So how did the big bang start?", and they'll claim it was god....until we find out the truth. If your 4 year old kid asked you why it rains, you know it's too difficult to explain evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and other -ations, so you would say "god is crying" or something.
God is just a fallback for something unexplainable.

Myself, when I look at the wonder of nature, the miracle of life itself, it's hard NOT to believe in God. Even Einstein believed in God on this same basis.
Just for the record though, a book written a couple thousand years ago is not really proof of anything except that people knew how to read and and write a couple thousand years ago.

Well I think that when the world began, we were afraid and confused of why we were here. We needed something to help us through the tough times, there may not be a god or even phsyical proffs. But there are momnets that are miracles and make you wonder of what outside. The belief in a higher force is comforting to people.

I'm a saint and I'm holy, therefore it's my obligation to believe in God. Moreover, why are you asking for proof? Religion is religion and science is science. You've heard of the separation of church and state haven't you? Well, what about the separation of science? If you want to discuss the proof of something go to the scientific section of Yahoo Answers. Just a friendly suggestion.

The world is proof, it is here.
my favorite quote by my Biology Teacher: Its not that Science and Religion don't get along its that Science isn't old enough to understand Religion.

because he created the world, you believe that you had certain things when you were a kid, however there is no proof of there existance.
Its called Faith, and if you have it you have it, if not you dont.
