If your puppy is going potty a lot than I would say it is fine. However if your puppy is drinking a lot and not urinating then I say get it to the Vet asap(As Soon As Possible). Your puppy could have a serious problem. You should ask your Vet about the problem. The best answer for any pet question is call your Vet. Don't worry about being a pest to him/her it is being a caring owner that you put your pets best interest a head of being a pest to your Vet. If you feel uncomfortable speaking to your Vet try calling a different Vet. WHEN IN DOUGHT...CHECK IT OUT...Good luck with your puppy...Call your Vet...

Shouldn't be a problem with that. He is an active pup I assume? If you have a strong concern, take pooch to the vet. But, active dogs will drink a lot. I have 2 dogs, one is 125 lbs, and the other is 45 lbs. and between the 2, they drink 2 gallons a day average. More in hot weather.

whils some dogs tend to drink more than others.Depending on how long you've had him,I would monitor his water intake and contact your local vet to see if they think it could be a problem. You say its 9 weeks so it should of visited the vet for a wellness check at least.

Drinking lots of water can be a sign of illness, such as Parvo. Take it to the vet immediately. Parvo can be deadly and is highly contagious to other canines.

All animals drink a lot of water. Your pup is still young and easily excited, which will cause thirstiness.
