Man, this can go so many directions. Use him but risk your job and your self-respect. Don't use him and report him but then risk getting fired. I wouldn't do it, unless she was like really hot and was just totally into me. And not married.

Report it to your Human Resources dept if it bothers you and you've made it clear you do not desire it.
If you are not discouraging it then it's your problem. If he's got half a brain, your being friendly back won't help you get a promotion...you simply do not deserve one for nothing more than playing around with the boss...
Do your job, have pride in your work and get your promotion that way...if you like the boss and want to date or have sex with him, go for it...but expect nothing in return...and realize if it goes sour, he may fire you, or transfer you somewhere less pleasant...

If the attention from him is unwanted than you should follow your chain of command and if needed go directly to his boss. If you allow this to continue in order to receive a promotion won't you feel guilty knowing that maybe someone more deserving of the position was cheated out of it? You should.

I would certainly prefer to earn my raises and promotions. It will make it all seem worth while to put forth the extra efforts. That would be an accomplishment to be proud of.
In the way your speaking, I would feel demoralized.
Also, I would either ignore his advances or let him know it make you uncomfortable.

Pretend you don't get it, it worked for me i played stupid and he left me alone, why would you want to sleep with someone you work for?, promotion comes after hard work and dedication in the work place not in the bedroom, promotion has to do with performance on the job.

Surely you think more of yourself than that. Be direct with him. Tell him you're not interested. If it continues then it is sexual harassment.

NO!!! You need to report him. If he is "top dog" in the company, then call the police. This is a crime.
