Take ALL of your dogs to the vet, and get an anti-biotic. Kennel Cough is contagious. The Medication is not too expensive at all. We went through this recently when we adopted from the Humane Society.

You asked this question an hour in the past. i'm confident it dose help kennel cough, yet with the puppies being so youthful you're able to desire to seek for recommend out of your vet. whether that is a emergency your surgery could have an out of hours sanatorium accessible on their answer gadget. good good fortune and that i'm hoping they're nicely quickly.

Call the vet and ask. They may not want you to bring them in anyway, since they are so young, or you may have to just bring one.
Kennel Cough usually needs antibiotics. Cough medicine just quiets the cough, but does nothing for the underlying condition.
The best bet is to always check with the vet. This is the price of breeding......puppies can get sick, the mom can get sick....if you want to have live puppies to sell, get them taken care of properly!

I wouldn't advise giving this to pups. First, its kind of unusual for pups this young to have kennel cough. There are other things that come to my mind first.. like hookworms (yes, can cause coughing). It not impossible to have kennel cough, but usually there is small chance for exposure in pups that are still with mama. There are also other viruses, like distemper that could involve coughing. Have the vet check them for parasites, and if there are none, then he can prescribe some Amoxicillin liquid and cough suppressants that are safe.

I have been told in the past that anything you'd be prepared to give a human child is ok to give a dog, but why don't you just ask a vet?
