It depends what you mean by nationality.

There are plenty of cars built in the UK, but not many by British-owned companies.

The biggest-selling cars in the UK so far this year are:

Ford Focus - built in Germany by American company
Ford Fiesta - built in Spain by American company
Vauxhall Astra - built in UK, Belgium and Germany by American company
Vauxhall Corsa - built in Spain and Germany by American company
Volkswagen Golf - built in Germany by German company

Apart from the Astra, the following cars are built in the UK:
All LandRovers
All Jaguars
All Minis
London Taxis
Nissan Micra, Almera, Primera, Note, Qashqai
Honda Civic, CRV
Toyota Corolla hatchback, Avensis, Auris 5dr hatchback

The following vans are also built in the UK
Vauxhall Astravan
Ford Transit
Vauxhall Vivaro
Renault Trafic

There is also a thriving specialist car industry, with manufacturers such as Marcos, Westfield, Caterham, Ascari, Lotus, Arial, etc.

Many other cars use British-built engines - e.g. BMW 1-series and 3-series with 2.0litre petrol engines, many diesel-engined Fords.

The alleged "electric powered motorized motor vehicle" isn't the answer to our transportation subjects - the present technologies would not start to evaluate to the reliability and practicality of a usual, internally fueled engine powered motorized motor vehicle. the motor vehicle is in certainty pollutants unfastened - until you plug it in - and until the electrical powered powered era plant existence are pollutants unfastened, the great scheme is a deceptive hoax. Is there rather any distinction in producing pollutants on our highways or centrally looking greater pollutants on the era plant existence jointly as we dramatically advance the flexibility production and the distribution grids?

For Me the German car is superior. VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes.
It's just a personal choice as an engineer. The Swedish also make a good car- Volvo and Saab.

Most major manufacturers have plants all over the world so it is hard to pinpoint a nationality as such.
