My boyfriend is currently in med school so he is financially in the hole.
Anyway, he indiscretly took a condom home with him last night assuming that I did not notice how many we had used up already since I just bought the box.
Should I assume that he is sleeping with someone else? Or ask him why he stole a condom from my stash. I still can't believe he was so lame in thinking I would not notice.
My gutt tells me that this is bad news especially since I already broke up with him a couple years ago and decided to give him a second a chance.
I am thinking of texting him this message.. "hey i noticed you took one of my condoms home with you last night... should i assume that you are sleeping with someone else? definately puts "things" into perspective..."
What do you guys think?

Thanks for the answers so far....some details and I am pretty sure he took one ... he came over.... went into my secret pot for one...we went to dinner (which I paid!)..he went back into the pot again for another one.... and we used only one that night. Ugh.... I am so dissapointed but he definately puts things into perspective.

Another note... you guys mentioned I should go over to his place BUT he lives with his family.... so I can't do that!

Well, first off...ask him, don't accuse him...ask why he took it, not if he took it to have sex with someone else...see what he has to say and go from there, but don't tell him what you want/think his answer will be...let him do the answering...
Why would you date someone too poor to buy their own condoms anyway? Money isn't everything by far, but if the guy is that broke he's got issues he needs to deal with, rather than worry about dating...

Maybe he took it home to his place to be prepared if you two get it on there. Test him in a couple of days by going to his place, and getting it on. If he has the condom there ready, then no worries. If he doesnt have it, then confront him on where he used it - Oh, and definetly dont continue with the sex or the relationship !

if he comes over to your place then why does he need to take one home? doesn't make sense to me. i think that he is cheating and i believe he though that he would not have noticed it. best thing to do is to wait an entire day to see if he will mention anything thing about taking the condom from your home to you. if he does then maybe he just wanted to hold on to one if in case you come over at his place. or not. if he says nothing to you then bring it up and let him know that you know. you are sure to catch him unexpectedly and the look on his face will tell you it all. can you imagine if he is financially depressed and cheating?

Omg..i would be thinkin the same thing. Whatever you do, dont text him sayin that. Tell him face to face..just so you can see his reaction. :D girl i am so good at finding out things..so trust me..tell him face to face. BUT first make sure that it didnt just fall out the box or something. Good luck!
p.s. he better have a good excuse for taking a condom home if he did take it :D...if not DUMP HIS A5$

I would just leave it for now... and the next time you are going to have sex with him say ... "well we can use the condom you took from my house" ,,, If he denies taking it or says he doesnt have it anymore ... kick him to the curb because he is obviously cheating!!!... Do you really want to be with someone like that?

Well I don't think that you should text it I feel you need to talk to him about it and then what ever he answer that is on you if you should believe it I mean he could have took it thinking that later that day you guys was going to do something it all on you on what you want to feel about this

I would confront him without accusing. If you accuse him right off he'll clam up and not admit anything. You have to sit him down and let him have a fair chance to explain himself. If you have a feeling that he's not telling the truth you should probably think about breaking up again and this time, no more chances.

Call him on it before it kills you. I would not trust that at all! Watch what u say though just in case he was planning a trip somewhere for u 2 the next day or something and was too cheap to buy anymore.

Definitely say something. There is something going on and you deserve to know especially since you could be paying for his protection to sleep with someone else.
