Forget the "natural" items...just use something that works! See your vet... get a Capstar tablet and a dose of Advantage Flea medicine. Capstar kills all the fleas on your dog within 6 hours. Advantage spreads over the skin within 24 hours and kills fleas for a month. Advantage does not go into the dogs system. Don't worry about treating the house and yard if you use these products. It will also help to give your dog 1mg per pound body weight of Benedryl every 8 hours for the itching from the bites already there.

first of all I would shampoo the dog with a product called
Basic H2- 1/2 tsp and 2-3 drops of Basic G to a gallon of water.Put solution into a squeeze bottle. Go around neck first soak that area so fleas will not run to ears, nose and eyes.Soak down the back then rest of body. Use in shower area or with hand shower. Rinse well. This solution takes shield off the fleas so they drown. Then I would put your dog on vitamin supplements to prevent the dog from getting the fleas back
B Complex-helps to clear up skin issues
Garlic helps to keep fleas away as well as the "Bcomplex
Alfalfa- helps with healthy coat, allergies and skin problems.

I tried getting these vitamin supplements through the pharmacy but they don't work.

If he's allergic to fleas, why are you looking for a natural anti-flea thing? The stuff you get from the vets is a lot more powerful anyways.

Try bathing in Ivory Dish soap and applying a little garlic powder to the food...Also if you place a aluminum pie plate with enough water to cover the bottem under a small light , like a night light, it will attract any fleas and kill them when they jump in the water. Put this as close to dog's bed as possible..

Try an oatmeal bath and tee-tree oil. My pug had the same problem but he was allergic to grass also and the vet gave me a special shampoo.
