I heard yellow and red are supposed to make you hungry(along with some other color I think).That's what ones of my teachers said. Well I origanally heard that red makes you hungry but then one of my friends told me that yellow makes you hungry as well. Ask my why and I wouldn't know the answer, but it's some psychological thing I guess.
So to answer your question, so you can go in and buy some of their crap that they call food. (Watch "Supersize Me" and you'll see how bad it is.)

It was because that is the colors of Ronald McDonald's clothes. Ronald is the main man of McD.

They were out of paint so they peed on the letter m, but they peed so much that they started bleeding and that's why the background is red.
