Okay so i got back an assignment that i didnt even finish and it said "Super, Baby" with a big star on it. Now how often does a teacher say baby to a student. Oyea and she also has "baby" scribbled just a little so it was still readable. Is she trying to say somethin. She is young and this is her first year teaching and i am in highshcool. Should i say or do something to her about it? All Opinions please.

Bill,
Whatever you do, DON'T report her.
You may get lucky, or she might just be nice.
I am old enough to be your dad, but I just got my rear written up by some chick at work because I asked her if she was staying at the same hotel that the rest of us were while we were out of state.
It was a sexual harassment warning that could effect my life.
Not to sound like a penile unit, but either feel her out for fun, but don't be a pud and screw her over,
You have the next 50 years for banging!!!

Listen Bub: If your for real in Michigan that teacher can loose her job, can get up to fifteen years in prison for making it with any student under 18 and still in the school system so, your not innocent either.
Take that paper and go see your student adviser so your in the clear if anything happens, it could be someone else also, this does not necessarily she's only hitting on you.
If this is all innocent and she's just not using her noodle the adviser can call her on the carpet with a waring or whatever they do.
Then Keep your mouth shut, you know that old wives tale about gossip? P.S. Have a witness go with you and stay with you at all times so you have a "witness"

These are the possible explanations:
1. someone else wrote it, as a joke
2. the teacher was trying to be cool
3. the teacher was working late, and didn't know what she was writing in her sleepless state of mind
4. your teacher asked another teacher to help her grade her papers.
5. She was watching the movie
"SUPER BABIES--baby geniuses"

That's just what teachers do. I doubt she's coming on to you or something. But like TweetyBird said [above] save the paper, if she takes a step further, you have proof in court.
But don't tell anyone, you probably know a word called GOSSIP? Save your story untill you're certain.

*i'm in high school too!* =D

Why not show it to her and suggest that someone has tampered with the paper, as it was unfinished and certainly didn't deserve either a star or a comment like that. Be very noncommittal about it, just giving her a heads up that someone may be messing around with her marking. If she says she gave you the star and the comment, then you'll know to be very, very wary of this teacher. If she simply thanks you for the information, you know she's aware that you're not a complete ninny. And if she goes berzerk and threatens to knock someone's block off if she finds out who did this, you'll know it wasn't her.

Show the assignment paper to your parents. They should be aware of this in case it escalates. For now, my advice is to ignore it and don't refer to it. You said it yourself - she's young and this is her first teaching job. Chalk it up to youthful exhuberance, inexperience and poor judgement. If something similar happens again or if your teacher takes this a step further, bring it to your parents' attention again and ask that they speak to her boss. Oh, save the paper with "Super, Baby" on it...you might need it one day.

If no credit for the 87 or inspite of you may flow to primary and communicate the issue.

My god. has everyone in the world become a huge moron. If your teacher really did write that, i seriously doubt she is coming onto you. All she is saying is that you did a good job. It's sort of joking is what it is.. like Disco Stu :\
