This guy I like is older than by one year. I liked him at the first week of school and I was to chicken to ask him to the first dance. There's a dance coming up and I want to ask him?He might think it's funny because I'm younger! HELP!

If he's olny a year older it won't be a problem with him going to the dance with you. He's not going to think it's funny or turn you down. You two are only a year apart. If I were you I would get to asking him to this dance ASAP!!! You will miss out on this guy if you don't seize the opportunity now. Ask him sweetie, trust me you won't be disappointed.

Most women I know go for guys that are older than they...and that goes for teens too...girls mature faster than guys (in general) so the good matches in that area are often with guys older than the girl...
Just ask him...what have you got to lose?

oh come on! he's one year older, aint nothing wrong with that,if you really like this guy and you got butterflies in your stomach and you really want to go to the dance with him ask him, you never know he might like you, you wont know till you ask.

as a guy some times if u stand on the side lines and don't ask him if out u my never get on the field.The most he can say is no so noting gain noting lost.

that shouldnt matter. just talk to him and slowly ask him or ask if he already has someone to go with. then ease you in the conversation
