How long does it take for someone to get pink eye??

i've never had it before and i'm pretty sure i'm going to get it this time, since my moms boyfriends daughter has it.

Doesnt take long . Once I was babysitting a little girl and she had it at the time, she went home that evening, when I woke up the next morning I knew she had given it to me. My right and part of my left eye was matted shut with that crusty yellow eye mucus stuff. If you do get it you'll know it. First put a warm wet wash cloth over your eye and let it kind of melt the matter away . Your eye or eyes will probably red as well. Then go to the doctor as soon as possible he'll give you some antibiotics or eye drops or something to clear it up . Remember it is very contagious so get treated as soon as possible!
