ok I have never microwaved hotdogs but I am going to do that for a change how many minutes should they take?

Use a folk to put holes in the hot dog. Place in microwave for about 45 seconds or less on high. Watch it carefully until you know your dog or it will explode. It all depends on the microwave. They will swell up.

I just started trying to use a microwave for hotdogs too --but the hotdogs kept exploding open so I put water in a container -- boiled the water in microwave -- and put the dog in for a minute -- Thanks for asking the question I'm probably doing it the stupid way ..

I like 'em in the microwave. Put about five small diagonal slits in the skin all around the dog. Cover and pop in the micro wave, high for 30 seconds, turn and repeat until desired doneness is achieved.

Start off 50 per cent power for one minute. Then check the hot dog. Repeat until the dog begins to puff up a bit. Depending on the power of your microwave, you may have to go to high power. The trick is start off on low, check the results, and then go higher by increments.

Roll them up in a paper towel, and only allow about 30 - 45 seconds per dog, depending on your microwave.. It don't take long.

If you like your hotdogs busted open you should set the cook time for a minute, but if you just want to heat it up a little set the cook time to thirty seconds.

Microwave VERY CAREFULLY. Be sure to pierce them with a fork first and microwave about 1 min

Poke a hole in them first or they explode. About 1 min per wiener depending on microwave power.

depending on your microwave.....ours only about 30 seconds....for 1 hot dog..... I learned this while trying for the first time with the cheesy hot dogs!!! what a mess after wards good luck:)

Too see how long it takes to microwave them it depends on the back of the lable somtimes.
