I met this guy who is pretty cool and I think he likes me but he's kinda shy plus he's gotta slight birth defect. It's nothing major but I'm not sure what I should do.

The birth defect should be a non-issue if you really like him...you either do or you do not...if you do then ask him out...what have you got to lose?

Yes, you should ask him out.Like you said he is shy.Well maybe he is too shy to ask you out.so that means you should make the first move.For get about the birth defect , everybody is different.

Man, he must be shy.. I think it's nice you like him. Usually I tell girls to check w/friends (yours.. his..) since friends kind of are in the know as to how you two feel! Be places he is likely to be, make 'eye contact,' smile a lot! Look his way! you know.. be kinda flirty. (He'll get the point!) luck, hon

Why does everyone make a major issue of everything?
Ask him out, for heaven's sake. You're not obligated to marry him. You never know who or what you might find once you get to know him. Do you really want to spend your life saying "I wich I had..."?

Go for it. Just don't be surprised if he says no. A lot of women can't handle rejection as well as men, mainly because men are usually the ones who initiate things.
If you like him, just go for it. Usually, I don't recommend women asking men out, but if you like him that much, don't chicken out.

Ask him out. Appearances don't matter if you like someone. Sure, they can bother people, but once you get to know someone--you really don't care. I say go for it!!

ask him out be for someone beats you to it and you will lose out,could be a good thing between you two.
