Could be the dog. Dose it stay in the house with you or is it an outside dog? It could be a allergy to anything new medication, soap, lotion, cleaning product, dye in clothing. You may have to see a doctor or allergy specialist for allergy tests and shots.

If it's like a rash and it has tiny pimple like thingys in it and it's on your extremities it's probably an outbreak of eczema.

You can't get mometasone Furoate Creme 0.10% without a prescription so, go to your pharmacy and get some Hydrocortosone creme 0.01% or some Benadryl Creme for itching. See your doctor soon.
Some dogs, especially Cocker Spaniels are more susceptible to allergies, or create them. Wash the dog real good, make sure he hasn't fleas. You can check him out. They look like pepper, they're real ugly little devils under the microscope. They'll leave blood on you, they can bite you but not live on your blood.

It might be candida albicans (yeast) fungus that you may have picked up from the dog. To test this out, go to the store and get any antifungal cream or ointment, Lotrimin, clotrimazole, etc and try it on an arm. If that controls the itching then you may have the fungus. The cream should take care of it in 7-10 days.

I doubt it's the dog. See if you've started using any new soaps, shampoos, etc. Also check to see if you've changed your laundry detergent or dryer sheets. If it doesn't clear up in a few days, it could be nerves, and you may need to see your physician.

i would go get yourself checked out for scabies. i had it once where there was no rash but my arms and legs itched uncontrollably. i was miserbale. i thought I was going crazy. It turned out to be scabies. the treatment is easy but you have to do it precisely or it will be ineffective.

More likely it is the soap you are using or your laundry detergent.

Or you are using to much in the wash and it isn't rinsing out thoroughly.
