Yeah.....they want to give the illegals amnesty, more social benefits, and our social security. They have been very forthcoming in their plans since the beginning.

There are actually conservative democrats that are not in favor of amnesty along with the right wing republicans. Whether they will lean more on the left with the majority and Bush, remains to be seen. It is highly likely that the party will wait till the next presidential elections to pass any amnesty which would be their wild card, in case they mess up Iraq even more with their planned military withdrawal.

Comprehensive Immigration reform means "give it up, give it all up". It means erase the borders, hand over the US and shut up. I guarantee it'll be a one way street, Americans will never be allowed to freely enter or live in Mexico, although very few of us would want to anyway.
Will dems give Mexico and Bush what they want? Hopefully not, but if they do, the majority of Americans won't like it. But that doesn't matter, the majority appears to be an invisible group without a voice with little representation, if any. I hear Mexicans who've never lived in the US, voted via absentee ballot, they voted for Mexico of course. That's why they want that dual citizenship so bad, they find it to be a premium.
I see many Americans migrating to other countries rather than live in Mexico. It's possible they'll not only give amnesty to ALL illegals in this country, including drug pushers, felons, hookers, thieves and gang members. I can see them over reaching, over compensating, committing national suicide by making every citizen living in Mexico a citizen of the US as well.
If the border with Mexico is erased, that's exactly what could happen. Mexico had hundreds of years to make something of their country, but didn't. Now they want control of our country, they want our wages as low as theirs (they want us to fail, they're more than happy to teach us how). They're using remittences to pay off their debt as we go deeper in debt taking care of their people. And we're supposed to be happy about this?
The US is even taking advice from the failed government (Mexico). All they seemed to have mastered is failure and having lots of babies. The average Mexican don't even want to live in Mexico, why would the average American want to? But that's what we'd be doing if our borders are erased and an amnesty given.

Considering almost all democrats elected are conservative, and the fact that there are still almost as many republicans as democrats, that amnesty will not be on the table. So a comprehensive border security reform will take place if you ask me.

Absolutely. They will dilute if not suspend the Patriot Act, reduce the number of Boarder Patrol agents, eliminate military patrols and assistance and demand that the boarder states pay for more and more services to undocumented aliens.
California, Texas and Arizona will face billions more dollars in paying these bills.
And please, the question has nothing to do with the taxes undocumented workers may or may not pay while working here.

Lets hope that will close the border, before they do anything .
Let your congressperson know how you feel about closing the border .
We have to keep up the presser so they know who put them in office and not to let us down or they will be out in 08 .

I can only hope they take a firm stand against Illegal Aliens. Immigrants are welcome, so long as they become citizens and obey our laws.
