IE7 BLOWS the big weenie!! Bog's down my machine and takes forever to load. How can I get IE6 back?

hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<<
then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again

OK - DO NOT UNINSTALL IE7 - I know it will take a little while to get used to, but given the way IE is so tightly integrated into the entire Windows architecture (and any bugs along with it), you really should think of IE7 as a major system security upgrade - even if you never used it!
Even if worst comes to worst, and you're on an older system which is short on resources, you are still better off keeping IE7 and installing either Firefox or Opera to use as your primary browser.
Now, to speed up IE7, have a look to the following options:
*Update both your Flashplayer plugin, and your Java to the latest versions to ensure maximum compatibility.
*also, you may need to reinstall any of your messenger applications to re-hook them into IE7.
*If push comes to shove, you can also disable the "phishing" detection, as this will also speed things up - not the preferred option, but it will make a fair difference.

Delete 7 and reinstall 6 is the only way.
