Yes it can help sometimes, because usually guys if they like someone want to make sure the girl likes them back, to not just ask her out and then make a fool out of himself. So if you give a guy a head start by telling him you like him (it especially helps shy guys) then hell appreciate it. Go for it! GoOd LuCk ;)
