Christian, Jews, Pagans, Wiccans, Atheists, Agnostics,
etc have fought and died in order to assure you the freedom in America to worship (or not) as you please...
Would you do the same for us?
Would you fight to the death to assure Christians, Jews, Pagans, Wiccans, Atheists, Agnostics, etc...the freedom to worship (or not) as we please?
Please, be honest in your answer.

Oh come on!! are you questioning the patriotism of American Muslims!

I am glad u asked this question because I assume many americans have similar thoughts but never really expressed them. My answer to you is yes we will fight for our country. Why, because the war against terror is not against muslims, it is against terrorists who use Islam as their political justification. The killing of innocent civilians is a major sin in Islam, a sin that is unforgivable. I read a few months ago that there are more than 18,000 muslim recruits fighting for the U.S army in both Iraq and Aghanistan, we will fight for our country and for all its people no matter what their religion, race is. Islam does not discriminate, all people are equal.

I'm not sure if I speak for all Muslims, but for me, Islam is more important than country. Country comes next, and I'll tell you the reason.

The Constitution of the United States of America is fantastic, and one of the best examples of true human thought, and governing law in the world. It can be modified, amended, completely thrown away and a new one written up. But, with all this flexibility, the document is still man-made.

The Qur'an is divine and not man-made, therefore, it is a more important document than any this world can produce...

Having said that, there are many Muslims who have died fighting honorably for the US, and many Muslims serve in the Armed Forces of this country...

hmmm...

Allow me to show you this example:

Samir, a 34-year-old Iraqi-American, pinning deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein to the ground during his capture. Samir was the translator for the U.S. Special Forces who helped find Saddam and pull him from his hiding place on December 13, 2003

Does this count as fighting for America's freedom?

Are you saying that Muslims have not RISKED their lives for America? You're saying out of the 12,000+ soldiers in Iraq, not one of them is Muslim?

I am a Jew. And, how dare you ask an American if he will die for his/her country. There are many Muslims in our armed forces, and some have died in Iraq. Just-------how dare you!

Good question. I can't help but see some sort of internal conflict based on the Quranic doctrine.
