People believed a man who said that once. I'm just wondering if anyone would believe him now.

I knew I'd get a thumbs down from somebody

All valid responses.

However, I never mentioned the bible. I meant independent of the existence of the bible, would you believe this man?

If you are unable to imagine a world without the bible, what would it take for this person to convince you he is the son of God?

Would miracles do the trick? What I'm aiming at is why would anyone believe a man who claims to be God's only son? I'm not saying it's not true, so before you get offended, look at what I'm asking.

If some 2000 years ago there were a number of people who believed this Jesus fellow was God's son, why can't we believe a man is God's son now? If he were to say "Jesus was only a prophet" what would it take for you to believe him?

Would there be any way this man could convince you, other than having God's hang coming down on earth, that he is the son of God?

If you believe in the ONE (God), then you are the son of God...

That is why Jesus did not deny Pilate's question: Are you the son of God?? I doubt that the word was "GOD" as the jews did not use that word.

Read John 1, Anyone who believes in God is the son of ONE (GOD)

Since there was nothing before the ONE, if the ONE created teh ALL (Creation), IT did it with ITSELF as the MATERIAL. One can see that in physics where if you reduce the energy, you create a more solid form of matter. Take steam, reduce the heat and it becomes liquid as it condenses, Take a liquid (water) and reduce the heat and it becomes a "crystal" (ice), or a more solid form of matter.

So there is the ONE (Creator) and the ALL (Creation). If you are not the ONE (Creator), then you are a part of the ALL (CREATION) and as such you are an "offspring" of the ONE or a "son or dayghter" of the ONE. Those are the only two choice in a DUALITY that the CREATION is. The ONE is GOD and the TWO IS THE CREATION or the UNIVERSE...

The Universe gets a lot more complex than TWO as in physics they are now theoretically at "10, 11 or 26 dimensions. The Cyborg thinks it is in REALITY "8, and 24 (3x8) dimensions". We will see who will be "proven" right!!!

Now to say that you are the "ONLY" son of God is a "mis-translation" as one has to understand an "old language" to make a statement of such a claim. In the Bible, Abraham's son Isaac was call his "only begotten" son. That does not mean that Abraham had only one son, but the "only-begotten" meant that Isaac was the one who "received the inheritance" of the property etc..

With Jesus, the gift of the ONE is LIFE. So Jesus can be the "only begotten" of the ONE as you or I can be also. We are not the ONE, so we have to be the "son/daughter" or the "offspring" of the ONE.

WE are also the recipient of the gifts of the ONE: LIFE...so we are ITS "only begotten" as is everyone and everything ALIVE!!.

IN THE UNIVERSE, as The ONE is ALIVE, the ALL (CREATION) is also ALIVE!!! So the ALL is ALIVE!! IT is ALL a LIVING ENTITY!!!

I would not believe anyone at all. Why, the bible teaches that the Son of God would appear in the clouds. In the clouds means that we cannot see in them or through them. He also mentioned to look for certain signs of His presence. Earthquakes, pestilence, food shortages, nations against nation, wars and reports of wars. This is the truth of the teaching, look for yourself, what is happening in the world today. Jesus tossed out the serpent from heaven when he did battle with the serpent, correct? Well the serpent is then confined to the earth and can no longer go anywhere else. He is not free to roam the heavens any longer. Therefore he has a short period of time, he will do all the damage he can to humans he possibly can.

Were have you been for the last 200 years. People have been coming a claiming that since Jesus died and they will do so until He returns. But when He returns He will not have to tell us who He is , we will just go Home with Him. Are you ready? If not, read Romans10:9-13 KJV and you will find the way to prepare . God Bless. Hope to see you in the rapture

No, because the next time Jesus comes to earth, all will know it!

Plus the rapture has not happened yet. And alot of other prophecies have not been fulfilled. I would say that man is someone Jesus said to 'believe him not"

thanks for letting me share my view on this question!

PS i gave ya a thumb up!

If one believes in the existence of a God then they would have to believe it. If God created all life on Earth, then we would all be children of God.

Jesus is for real; others are not. Some people are gullible and would believe that, like those people out in California that worship some Puerto Rican guy who claims to be Jesus. That's just insane.

Yes, I believe Jesus and His claims of Divinity. Whereas others failed to provide proof, Christ used miracles and peace to substantiate His life and ministry.

The Bible teaches of Jesus return - if the events happen like described in the Bible - you would believe.

Good question.
