oh well I wouldnt worry about it just invite him over for dinner or something..... or a football game let your dad and your boyfriend bond so that your dads not viewing him as a horny bastard.... all will go well trust me....

Invite your BF with your other friends over to your place one day when your dad is around. Either to hang out ,have a barbeque or just have a meal.Alternately they may join you at home for studies etc. Let your dad speak to all of them. Do this few times and slowly ask each of your friends to drop out from coming and only your BF comes home.By then your BF would have established a rapport with your dad.then perhaps break the ice.

Well, it will take time, but show your boyfriend how to earn your dad's trust. Show him what kinds of things your dad likes in a guy and make sure your boyfriend is treating you well. (You shouldn't put up with him in the first place if he isn't!) Maybe you can ask your boyfriend to open doors for you etc. Dads are often impressed by that kind of behavior. Hope this helps!

Maybe daddy is a better judge of men / character than his little girl .
Daddy wants only the best for his little girl, and he knows that the b/f she has chosen is not a good choice...

well you really need to get out of daddys girl mood becuase daddy aint there for ever and carnt be holding your hand in every thing hes a dad it there job not to like there little girls boy-friend he scard he gonna lose you just tell him hes not going to lose you to this boy and if he still doesnt like it then hes gonna have to like it cause you carnt change your whole life around what daddy wants

tell your dad it would mean a lot to you if he gave this guy a chance. invite your bf to dinner with your family so everyone's in a fun and relaxed environment. mention something that you know they both have in common to get a good converstion going. if your dad still doesnt like him have him give u good reasons why like hes smokes or is lousy about his grades, not that he burps at the dinner table. tell your dad that this guy means a lot to you and you want him to accept that.
