If you're an organ-donor, a harvesting team removes those organs you have chosen to donate. This requires doctors. If a post-mortem autopsy is deemed necessary, than a pathologist (a doctor) removes some organs for weighing and inspection. If you die and no harvesting or autopsy is performed, then no -- doctors don't take out your organs. A mortician will.

No, it's not true. The only time an organ is removed is if the person is an organ donor and the organ is given to another person.

No, doctors do not remove organs. Organs are only removed if the person was autopsied or if they were an organ donor. Morticians do not remove organs either. We leave everything intact.

I don't think the doctors take out anything unless you agree prior to your death that you will be an organ doner.
We signed off when my son passed away before they took anything, they came out and ask us. However; what the undertaker does may be another story? They take out your blood and replace it with embalming fluid. So perhaps they take out some of your internal organs I don't know.

No, this is not correct. Organs are removed only if the person has a legal document stating that he or she donated organs.

Heck no! When you die you can no longer pay for your medical services, so do you think any doctor is going to take the time to remove your organs when he can no longer bill you for it?

Only if you are an organ donor. If you are not an organ donor then they don't take anything out.
