I wouldn`t worry about it. Thats one of the several ways this could have turned out. It could have turned nasty, it could have turned out right for you, it could even have been a disaster for you and your husband. Just be thankful that that was the only consequence of the truth you told

Lucky he thinks it's a joke...what were you thinking? He AND you are married to other people? What good could come of telling someone you dig them, when both of you are married? How would you feel if you learned your husband did that?

Treat others as you want to be treated...if you wouldn't want your partner to be expressing feelings/interest in another person, then don't do it yourself...

Fix what's wrong in your marriage, or end it...but leave married guys alone...you don't need that kind of karma...

Thank your lucky stars that this guy took it as a joke else you could have done something stupid with him and ended up with nothing. Why do you feel stupid he was perhaps chuffed that you told him how you felt, but believe me he has done you a massive favour.

well .... both married - if you mean that both of you are married to someone else -- then you must control yourself.
there are times when you want to cross the limits and do something what you should not -- and a real human is the one who knows how to control oneself.

if you still want to try - you are inadvertently , about to ruin 2 families.

lucky you - he thinks you were joking. if you can bear to - keep the joke going - even in front of your partners. that way he'll know that you didn't mean it and you can stop being embarrassed. if things are so bad with your own partner why don't you try talking things over with them instead of looking for answers outwith your relationship. good luck.

Avoid him, the situation, and thinking about him and the situation as much as you can all together. Try to put some extra effort into your own marriage and/or family to help push this guy out of your head.

well, feeling stupid is the consequence of telling a married man that you think of him. Sorry, but that was wrong.
