I have long hair, and I straighten it. I naturally have wavy hair. I CAN'T have my hair wet. I bought this blue speedo swimming cap for when I swim. I'm going to tie my hair in a high, tight bun and then put my swim cap. I don't mind if I get my hair just a litle wet.
Will my hair get wet a lot? - And do you know any tricks I can use for my hair to not be wet?
PLEASE HELP!

Being a swimmer myself, I have the same problem. Caps do help, but you must make sure that all of your hair is tucked in and that the cap fits tightly around your head. Good luck!

Mmhmm.. I'm taking swimming too. And, I have hair like yours. Except... WAY frizzier, most likely.
Anyway, I have to swim for 4 weeks (1 week left.. WOOHOO!) and I didn't straighten my hair.. except the week I was "on". So, You can not straighten it, and sport your hair in a cute wavy ponytail. Or, you can straighten it.. and have your hair smell like chlorine everyday. Which, isn't very fun.
My friend.. wraps her hair up, wears a shower cap, and a scarf, and THEN the swimming cap. Takes forever. =P

It should work then, the only thing is when your wearing the swimming cap and then you take it off won't your hair not be straight anymore?

You can put it in a bun and then put the speedo cap on if that dosn't work good luck but seriously try my idea it works for me.

Well, make sure you have all your hair in the cap maybe bobby pins will help it stay on so your hair wont come out

Then you don't need to worry. The cap (unless it is really lousy) will work. You might have to worry about how straight your hair will be afterwards though.

while i become in swimming i might braid my hair earlier going to college then i might positioned the on the front of my head, tuck the braids on good of my head, and then slip the cap over the back of my head(ask a chum that may assist you place it on). Then, in basic terms the sides of my hair might get moist. and that i think of the suitable cap is the speedo plastic cap, not the fabric varieties.
