our dog does that, we call it....going in the zone! He has fixated his attention on something that does not require alot of work and can relax. I do it when I daydream....go with it!

Try blinking slowly when you next catch your cat staring to see if he/she blinks back. It's a way they communicate - sort of like a kiss.

Do you wear shiny things? or things that make noise? cats go crazy over those things, it wonders, "should i go get that stuff? wait, is that my person? i'm confused!!!"

your cat can see things that you cant see and sense things that you cant sense. maybe there are spirits around you.
