i've seen an interview of manny pacquiao on ABS CBN's morning news program and he did confirm that most of the time, he is the personal manager of 2006 World Pool Champion Ronnie Alcano. In fact, they've met, according to PacMan, years ago even before Manny started playing pool. For naysayers read this: Manny Pacquiao tried his luck on professional billiards and he even qualified in the final stages of the Philippine 9-Ball Open Tournament years back.

It is true. Pac-Man is also passionate about 9-ball pool. In fact, his management needed to warn him to refrain from late night playing of pool when his matches are nearing. He can play competitively but not in world-class level.
Alcano and Pacquiao are friends and Pac-Man notice the potential of Alcano and supported him by somewhat managing ang financing him. He even bets big for him in non-sanction events.
