this is a myth.
From the link bellow
The Islamic religion has a long history of myth making. The claim they are the fastest growing religion in the world is pure myth.
There are more new Christians added to the world population than any other religion on earth every day. This data makes the entire discussion about "rates of growth" irrelevant. The fact is today, that Christianity is the fastest growing religion on this most critical basis. This may change, but today, in 2004 AD, Christians take the prize for being the fastest growing religion.
On none of the 6 continents are Muslims the fastest growing religion.
That Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world is pure myth at best and at worst a deliberate deception of solid statistical facts

And you think that if I give more that we can go out and buy a few souls? If you get all but a handful of us it wouldn't surprise me. Narrow is the gate to life eternal and few will find it. Wide is the road to damnation and many will take that road... I think that leading people away from a love relationship with Jesus Christ is a terrible sin and I'm glad I don't have to explain those kind of actions to the Father at judgment. Jim

The only reason Islam is growing is not because of converts, but because they keep having kids. Each woman has five or six kids on average in the Middle East. That's why they're multiplying like bunnies!

considering the fact that you evidently have no experience of the Christian religion, this is an invalid question. how do you know how much money Christians give to their churches? And in case you hadnt noticed, we are not racing to beat other religions. That defeats the point.

Tithing does not simply mean giving money. There are a great many of us who can barely make ends meet much less have extra for the offering plate. But to give of oneself and the talents and energies we have is every bit as respected in the eyes of God. Anyone who wants to convert can feel free to do so. If they have read the book, then they are responsible for what it says. They alone can answer to God for any mid river switch. It is not for me to criticize.

Most Christians believe a tithe is enough, but a tith is 10% of your "total" income and that is to your Church. You should give more than that to other groups and ministries.

Christians don't 'battle' for souls, we're not that aggressive. Only muslims do that.

The Bible anticipated Islam. (Rev 6:7-8)
God knew it would dominate one fourth of the earth. Interesting that it does.
Also interesting is that the Bible anticipated that they would kill using "death". Fascinating they kill using their own "death" in suicide bombings.
Is it sheer coincidence that the Bible says they will also kill by means of the "beasts of the earth"? There are big beasts like lions and tigers and bears, . . . but there are also little teensy-weensy beasts like anthrax, ebola and aids.
The church is what God knew it would be.
More poignant still is that Islam is what God knew it would be.
