My media guide wont let me play music. Now it only shows me websites. How can I fix this or has Microsoft faced a problem and you cant play music on the windows media guide anymore?

hi there , maybe you're usnig none registered windows ! microsoft wont let naybody to use his god damn windows freely ! and recently when you update your windows it wont work properly until you pay some money ! by the way there is too many ways to register the windows

2 : you may have changed the left side category of media player to Media Guide ! its so simple problems just choose Now Playing ! ! !

3 : still have problem ? go to control panel , add / remove programs , windows components , uncheck the media player and apply it maybe windows cd requires give it to cd rom when you removed the media player try to reinstall it by chcking the box !

I've noticed the same thing. Pretty frustrating. I do not use Internet Explorer so I don't know why it would have anything to do with it. My guess is that Microsoft was sued or something because of the ability to steal music from the Media Guide.

Because you upgraded to IE 7, and that junk screws up half the programs on your computer. Go to add/remove and uninstall it. It will revert back to IE 6.
