No suggestions for places to stay in Blackpool as I have never stayed there. However, I have used the Smooth Hound System http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ to find guesthouses around the UK. The guesthouses I've found have always been good quality.

Blackpool consists of little else but B & Bs and hotels - Many of which are of a pretty low standard, except for the price which is high. Be careful!

fancy going self catering then go to the haven camps as these are really good value and by april weather shoudl be nice

What ever you do dont use Alpharooms to book your hotel....
