Well, I've got it. It's fast and easy and can be made in just 10 minutes.

It's called the Pudding Pie Whip Creme Supreme. (Yes, I know not a very catchy title, but it works)

What you'll need:

-Jello brand instant pudding mix
-Ready made pie crust
-Whipped cream

1. Have the pie crust put into a pan, about the size of a regular sized plate. (You can buy the pie crust at the baking part of the grocer's)

2. Following the directions for the pudding, instead of normal milk, use skim. 2 cups. Mix. (Because that's kind of the point of the healthiness)

3. Let the pudding settle and pour into the pie crust.

4. Let it set in the fridge overnight. (It'll taste better)

5. Serve in pieces, with a blob of whipped cream on top. Mm!

It's a really good thing to make. Have the kids pitch in. It's fun! :) Not only does it taste good for the kids, it tastes good for the adults too. :)

Today almost every food item has the option of low-fat to choose from whether it is milk or cream or chocolates that you can buy in any supermarket. Also look up recipes that allow you to make some ingredients from scratch so you know how much sugar or calories are going into the dessert. Just by making a few changes to a recipe, you can make very nutritious, yet decadent dessert. Some of the healthy dessert ideas are a bowl of fresh fruit salad served with fat free ice cream or making desserts with vegetables and fruits like carrot cakes and stewed apples. Teenagers are easier to work with as they have by now learnt the basics of operating the oven and other electric gadgets, they are big enough to read through recipes and follow them.

Sounds lovely and real holiday treat, and the kids can make it on their own. Good Idea.

Fruit salad/cups.

You can serve all of their favorite fruits mixed together in a bowl.
Or you can make jell-o and put in their favorite fruit.
