Jerry Fallwell has said all gay people are going to hell. This ticks me off. I have been boycotting his books and his TV shoes.
Does this make me hateful?

I just find it interesting that so many called me hateful for Elton John - so I thought I would test it with Jerry Fallwell (I can't hurt his pocket book anyway - I ALWAYS thought he was a half bubble off)

that is a tragic actuality that libs might desire to have this reported to them or perhaps then, deny it as actuality. yet, that is not any ask your self that they like to not understand those they declare they're maximum interested in retaining through fact they fall below the class of the newly created Obama destructive. Why they think of those falling off the UI rolls merely disappear is previous me. some estimates cite the real UI fee as severe as 25%. In might community component of golden CA, the place the 1st rate count quantity if nevertheless 17%, this comes as no ask your self in any respect. EDIT @ daniel - the version is that interior the previous the unemployed did not proceed to exist UI for ninety 9 weeks. The overwhelming majority did not exhaust their reward in any respect merely bc there become artwork available. Our modern difficulty is in assessment to any we've ever had. between the employed, there's a miles greater beneficial form of ppl who're working at under often happening. you're merely determining directly to proceed to be ignorant on the subject of the direness of the area and the severe want of those coming head to head with finished destitution. All you libbies want is to proceed to pat yourselves on the back and are prepared to disclaim actuality so as to accomplish that.

Miss Vicki, I don't like Jerry Falwell either. I think he needs to learn how to speak about God's word. But he is right...the bible says that homosexuality is an abomination to God...and, like all unrepentant sinners, if someone does not repent of that sin and accept Jesus as savior, they will go to hell. I know that makes some people angry, but it is what the bible says. And I don't say that to be mean, just to be honest.

I just wish Mr. Falwell would learn how to speak God's word without being so obnoxious.

Well, I am far less hateful than I used to be, & I still won't buy Jerry Fallwell's books or help him in any way. Fallwell is the one who is hateful (and he's got WAY too much time on his hands, I mean, that's the only way he could've come up with his "gay telletubby" story: too much time on his hands, which means WAY too much money, so he doesn't need any of mine to add to that giant bank account). So, no, I don't think it means you're hateful. It means you don't want to fund hatred.

Well, Jerry Falwell is a horrible little religio-fascist, but do you have any questions to ask that are not about boycotting things and whether this makes you hateful? Just do what you want to do - there's no need to ask strangers from around the world to validate your judgements.

Again, no, it does not make you hateful. If you feel that strongly about it then by all means don't add to his income.

I never bought any of his books simply because he does not have anything to say that I do not want to hear.

but again, like I said about Elton John, if you like his preaching and really want to hear his opinions, don't let one opinion keep you from what you enjoy, but if it is really something you feel strongly about, by all means boycott him.
