Yes, my father said yes to Jesus as his savior four days before he died at age 91....one night I was sitting on the edge of my bed in the dark praising God for the transforming power that He had worked in my Dad's heart...and I felt this very, very powerful presence behind me of two men, I think it was the Lord with my father. Oh...it was so beautiful.

Also, this past Father's day I was sitting in church thinking about my Dad and I felt his loving presence. I can't wait to see him in heaven, and we can laugh together, that it's all true and Jesus really is Lord and we'll be together forever.

When my grandma passed a few years ago, I was unable to attend the funeral because it was several states away and I just didn't have the money to go.
About a week after the funeral, I was awakened (maybe it was a dream, but it felt like I was awake) to see my grandma standing in my bedroom smiling at me. She told me she loved me and that she was fine and not to feel guilty about not being able to go to the funeral because she knew that I loved her and that "silly old" funeral didn't matter.
I have always felt very peaceful after that.

by all means. my dad was in a coma and could not talk yet mom called me after I got home from work wanting to know if I was coming to the hospital. replied " no " was wanting some rest and then I heard dad's voice saying " son if you don't come and see me you'll never see me on this plane alive again. " went to the hospital and less than 10 minutes dad was gone. -- then I was taking part in a special Ceremony that dad liked and prayed that GOD allow my dad to watch this. several people who knew dad said they saw him there in a vacant seat watching the Ceremony. when the Ceremony was completed dad went back to the place from whence he came.

Yes, right after my mom died. Her presence was with me for over 6 months. She still leaves me signs.
Read Feather's Brush My Heart by Sinclair Browning. Truly amazing. It was given to me at one of my mom's masses from one of her care-takers. It may answer your questions.
