Seriously, laws are empathy (empathy comes from social animal characteristics) taken further to accommodate complex society. Before laws, people lived in tribes, and if someone did things you describe, they would be killed. Killing those type of people helped ensure safety and survival in the group...

Maybe where YOU live, but here , society morals would swiftly get rid of people who did this, and people would know better than to do it. Just because there is no law about something, it doesn't mean that anything goes. Society places rules on people just by ostracising those who don't follow the norms.

i dont think that it is law and order that anyone has a problem with. i think it is when people try to force their paticular religious beliefs into law that we have a problem.
murder
theft
and rape were illegal long before Christianity. and were not tolerated even in pre historic times.
however in many ancient cultures homosexuality was not looked down on. but many would have laws made against it today.
and we call the ancients savages.
