In the precinct my friend Kelttown works at she says they often "round up the usual suspects" for aiding in the capture of crime-men. I am too embarrassed to ask her in case she thinks I am not smart and we are done with being friends. Who are these "suspects"? Is one Brent?

I am 43. I am a man. I have a car. I have a friend. Thank you.

i think it started out as a line from the movie 'casablanca'. whenever a crime is committed they have a few people in town that are always suspects because of their generally suspicious behavior. who is brent, anyway? and who is kelttown? who are you talking to?

Depends on the crime and the area the crime was committed in. What's the MO. You find ex-cons who fit the MO and round them up, not litterly, but by ask them questions. If they did not do it they often know who did it and will often tell you who did it. It keeps the cops off their backs.

Connected people, people who have commited crimes in the past and know everything that happens. Sometimes paid informants, snitches, ect.

It depends on the crime. If they have a burglary, they round up all of the people currently out of jail who were convicted of burglaries....Sex crimes, child molestation, gun charges, etc.
