i need an activation code because the trial ran out and i cant reinstall it.

go back to macromedia website and download the trial again or request for extn of trial software.If not purchase it from the company.

You must have downloaded a trial package for the full version. The player is free. Unless you want to make your own flash movies, the free one is all you need.
