Pit bulls can be great dogs, however they were bred to fight other dogs, and be easily handled (hence the reason he is sweet with people). Honestly, the only way to keep both dogs is going to be to separate them. You may want to think about finding a new home for one of them too.
One question, do you love on the boxer when he gets picked on.....this may be a cause. In the pit's head, this means he gets more agressive because as the winner, he should get the attention, but the loser gets it instead. In dog psychology, the winner should be getting the attention from you, the Alpha dog.
One other possibility is an electric collar.....if you are interested in more info on that you can email me......at yahoo.com.....check profile for the first part of email address.

how old are the dogs? I have a 2 1/2 female pit, 1 1/2 male pit and a 2 1/2 cocker. None of my dogs fight but they do play alot. They don't like other dogs though.

You need to do a little research on the breed of dog you are owning. Pit bulls are notorious for dog aggression, especially between dogs of the same sex. You need to keep them separated at all times. Baby gates stacked two high are what we use for our dogs.

I would say you may have to seperate the both of them. Sometimes when a Pitty matures in to a adult dog they can become dog aggressive and not like other dogs , even the ones they live with. If you can't seperate them ,then giving one away would be in the best interest of the dog.

Having a male dog neutered often won't help, especially if the dog is a bit older and has already learned agressive behavior. Your only option may be to seperate them, or possibly give one of them away.

hmm i think the only choice you have is seperate them ... although its quite horrible for the dog.
maybe treat them like little children and do fun stuff with both of them lol =)
