Call the cops Then dump him

2006-11-12 09:19:24 · answer #1 · answered by Jenny E 1 · 3 1

Call the police. Get him away from you immediately. The big house will do. Then head to your magistrate and file a temporary restraining order. If you live with him, change the locks. Some things NOT to tell yourself of believe from him:

1. You provoked him
2. He's sorry and will never do it again
3. He had a bad childhood/or some other experience
4. I can't pay the rent without him
5. He can be a good father
6. But I love him
7. I feel guilty
8. I just don't want to deal with it now and things will go back to "normal"
9. He was drinking/on drugs
10. He just forgot to take his meds
11. I can fix him

You are far more valuable then to let someone rage physically or emotionally and allow it to happen. Please let him go. Good luck.

1. Leave. Now. Don't look back.

2. Get someplace safe.

3. You may file an assault charge if you wish. This is your choice. I would, if only to have it on the official record that he is abusive.

4. Don't ever, ever, ever go back.

5. If he becomes threatening or harassing, starts to follow you, etc., get a restraining order. Call the police if he violates it. Be safe, don't take the same route home from work everyday, stay with friends or family, go to a woman's shelter. Check out resources in your area.

6. Get on with your life.

Dump him girl, it will just go on and on until he makes you feel worthless. Don't allow him to do this to you, you deserve better. It may seem like an uphill struggle to go through the break-up, but it will be a lot harder for you if you stay in this relationship. Guys who do this have low self esteem, and need to bring someone down with them in order to feel better, don't let that someone be you. Get out now, you will find someone who will treat you right, there are lots of really nice guys out there who wouldn't even think of hitting a woman. You will find the right guy, just give it time. Good luck. x

Hon,

Anyone who lifts his hand at you is not worthy of you. You are worth way more than a boyfriend that hits you. Leave immediately. It only gets worse. They would say how sorry they are and they would never do it again but as soon as things settle down again and they think you forget, then they do it again. Please, I beg of you do not stay in a relationship like that. Talk to someone and get counselling if you have to but just get out of that relationship.

IF you really believe it will never happen again, if he is obviously and honestly contrite, and on top of this, you truly love him enough to forgive him the transgression, think about staying. If you get hit a second time, don't believe anything and get out. If you stay after a second hit, don't expect your friends, your family or anyone else to support your decision.

I know this is probably easier said than done, but you've gotta leave. Then you should call either a brother, boy cousins, or some really close guys friends to beat the hell out of him.

Never tolerate a person who shows no respect to you, therefore, break this relationship now before the beating turns to murder. You should never come to a compromise with one who fails to use his brain and opts for the fist instead. Why should you be belittled like this, has your self-respect deserted you because of these beatings?

Time to let him go. You deserve someone who respects you not beats on you. Im sorry, there just no way around it. Call the cops do whatever you have to so that you can get away from him. Also enroll in some type of self defense class. REGARDLESS, its time to let him go.
