I need help with my friend's daughter. She is now over 20. I wanted something that I could give her as a gift now that she is old enough to vote. I have known her for 17 years. Could I buy coffee OR tea? Her birthday or Xmas could be the time for this present.

I am married with one daughter who played with her when she was younger. Now my daughter is over 22.

Tea is the best option, it's more gourmet than coffee.
You can find a lot of varieties of international quality.
Regards!

There are lovely gift baskets that have a good sampling of both and with a nice cup set and biscuits or coffee compliments. It may be easier to just give her a variety so she can try several different flavors and have some to share over the holidays.

Not everyone drinks coffee or tea. What about a gift certificate to Barnes and Nobles or Borders. She could get cds, books or other things there.

Different kinds of tea and a tea strainer would be a good gift.

Chocolate is appreciated by many. Some young people don't care for coffee or tea. Unless you daughter knows she likes coffee or tea---go with chocolate.
