Guys are not all that shallow. Nor are girls. The thing is, though, that good-looking people are noticed right away. If you are good-looking or striking in some way, people will want to get to know you. If you dress plainly and hold yourself back, it'll take longer for people to notice you. Most people will probably have no problem looking past physical appearance, once they get to know you and your great personality, but making yourself physically appealing is a help, just to get them to that point with you.

most guys dont put looks as number one. Having their girl be pretty is just a bonus. If you have the charm thats what makes them fall. the only time looks are #1 is when they just want to get some action.

If a guy is shallow he will. Not all guys are abour looks. They care about her heart, personality and manners. True men love what's inside.

i think to some degree they do. at first sight, there has to be an initial attraction, that the physical part. then next is getting to know the person.
