It sounds like you are doing an online course. If that is the case I can see being bored. Investigate other types of programs. Find classes in your area. Talk to your mom. But you need to do something --the point of beng homeschooled is to get a better education...not to goof off

Lol. I used to do the same thing with a math program I had and then feel guilty about it. If the work is too hard it can make it a lot more difficult to concentrate. I would suggest not using a computer program. Get an actual book, for some reason I found them easier to learn from then online programs. Also ask whoever is helping teach you to look at the book ahead of time and then they can help you with whatever you're studying. One more thing is that you shouldn't worry about switching to a different program/curriculum. You can normally find out what you already covered and skip it. And don't worry about the cost. Your education is worth the 40 or so dollars .

It's the matter of adjusting and to discipline yourself. I know, it's easier said then done...When you are use to being in class, we would go home and to something else, however, right now, your home IS your school.

Tell yourself that per example, set your alarm clock for 8h, have breakfast, and make sure that you start your school day by 9h. take a 15 minute break every hour and then an hour for lunch.
It might sound silly, but it's the routine and eventually, you will get the hang of it.

Just be careful, people tend to be easily distracted when at home. Give your self a goal and then stay on top of it.

Good luck!

Do you have like all your books and stuff in one area? If so, add more of a comfortable environment to it, such as a radio and a whiteboard, maybe some pictures. Anything that will keep you in that room to do your work. Try going on trips to like museums and going to the park for activity to release any restlessness you might have.

What also might help is scheduling out your week, distributing your schoolwork so you're not overloaded and this will make your workload more even.

Hope I could help and have fun homeschooling (thats the most important part by the way!)

Go wash dishes for 8 hours a day
Do this for a month or 2
realize this what happens to people who don't finish school
Now go back to school, you're not a loser

You need to focus, set limits. I am homeschooled and I don't like doing the work but I have to. Don't u want to graduate asap, I know I do.

I was homeshooled to. I found that listening to music while I did the work made it go by faster. It can also be very distracting though so you have to be careful.

You should just clear your mind of everything first.
