A crock pot is an ceramic or baked clay vessel that you cook food in slowly to enhance the flavor and tenderness. A Slow cooker is a pot with a temperature control more specific for better control over cook time and often is a duel purpose tool you can also deep fry or boil foods in. Hope that clears things up!

It's kind of like Band-Aids and Jello. How often do you ask for an adhesive bandage? Youask for a Band-Aid, which is the brand made by Johnson & Johnson. I've never heard anybody ask for "flavored gelatin," only Jello.

I'm almost positive they are the same. I have a crock pot and my Mom had a slow cooker and they cooked the EXACT same way except, crock pots come in different sizes and slow cookers come in one size in general.
