I agree with the other answers. You should definately say hi! You sound like a nice guy who isn't too cocky or anything, which is good. I was a quite girl myself, and the only reason I didn't talk to other guys was because I was afraid to, just as you are. So just start a conversatioin, it can be something simple like about a math problem or just introduce yourself! It's always going to be awkward at first, so if she seems quiet even after you say something, it may be because she's shy as well and doesn't know what to say. Just be yourself and ask her about herself, like what she does after school or something, maybe you'll find you have something in common. :) Well, I wish you the best of luck!

Try to figure out where she's coming from before she goes in the class, or where she is at lunch. In other words, if you can find out where there's the least interference around her, then you can approach. Next, pick a common denominator: math class or the teacher. Ask her what she thinks of the teacher, or make an observation about the teacher, or ask her about a math problem or even how she likes the class in general. How about this: "Hi, my name is---- and I've seen you in class. So, what do you think of Mr. --? He's pretty good, I think. How about you?" So, if she is responsive, then keep up the conversation. She might say she's having problems with a math concept or something, at which time you offer to help her. Good luck.

Change your seat if you can, maybe have a friend migrate with you so it doesn't seem to suspicious. Maybe ask her how to do a math problem and then move on to something that is going on in school. Then talk about winter break or a movie or something that has come out. Joke about something. Then maybe you can hang out with her sometime. This is the best way to do it if you don't want to directly stop her after class or something.

If you get to chose the seats in your class sit next to her. Before class start up a conversation. Do this for a few days. After those days if she seems to be participating a lot in the conversations then ask her on a date.
Good luck.
Be brave.

Sounds obvious but say hi, maybe see if she would like to study some time or go out for a soda. Keep it simple honest and direct and don't forget to smile it'll show you are sincere. Good Luck!

Just go introduce yourself to her. Tell jokes, be charming, and flirt a lot. Be her friend. After a while, if you think she likes you, ask her to hang out with you on the weekend or something.

obviously go and say hello. But also try complimenting her, happen to end up in the same places as her, but not creepy stalker like, and don't be too forward
