I'm not allowed to ride w/ my bf in his car. My parents think I'm too young. I totally understand that, but I do want us to spend time 2gether outside of school. I need some stuff for us to do that my parents would approve of.

Taking a walk around your home area is always a great date. If there is a park not too far away, you can walk to it and just hang out. Maybe you can get one of your parents to take you both somewhere. If you bug them enough to take you places maybe they will finally give in and allow you to ride with your boyfriend in his car. You may try to get your parents to allow you to just go to places locally at first with him and as he gets more experience under his belt with driving, your parents may feel more comfortable letting you go with him. I'm guessing he is a new driver and I don't blame your parents for not allowing you to go with him for now. Give it a few months and your parents will probably lighten up a bit. Best of luck to you hon. I went through this same thing with my daughter, and as a parent, it takes a little bit of time for her friends to earn trust. I was the same way. First I would not allow her at all to ride with any of her friends. Next she was only allowed to ride very locally with her friends that had been driving for at least 6 months. Then I allowed her to go a bit further with her friends that had been driving longer. Little by little she was permitted to go further and further as time went on. It does take time to "break the ice" so to speak so be respectful of your parents wishes and have patience. They are only looking after your best interest because they love you and care about your safety.

If there is a lake or any bosy of water go for a picinc and for a walk. Either that meet up with him at the movies or even meet him after school and go somewhere. You could always walk to where ever thats what they had to do before cars.

Look into after school activities or maybe you can plan to study at the library after school. Sounds nerdy, but it can be a lot of fun. Try inviting him over so you'll be home where your parents can feel in control.
