i understand the heridity thing but its across the blood related thing it happens i went to canberra stayed at the tent embassy, found that many people have that they call a poor thyroid condition, seems as if if you go to a docter thats the first tests they do,
its not as if its curing thge disease they still feel tired then someone said, well never
mind
its a sign of the times, how much is this sign revealing ,all signs have a reason, has the medicine cured anything or simply added to the thyroids disfunctioning
if therrs enough thyroid in the system it dosnt kick in and make it thus will in time not work at all
my pigions had it because they were iodine deficient all i had to do was add condies chrystals in thier water,s /are these tablets but condies christles in a more expensivly marketed form?
good marketing making up for natual deficiencies in our water or food?
they come in so any dosages, are we getting good true measure or a good marketing service, hose tests alone are easy $

I havent heard this disease mentioned in a long while. It's one of the autoimmune diseases, in which a part of the body is attacked by the body itself, in this case the body part affected is the thyroid gland. I've never really thought about it, but I suppose it could always be possible that these autoimmune conditions may be becoming more prevalent because of the increasing contamination of our air and water.I always wonder, too, about all these "air fresheners", sprays and spritzes ,scented candles and suchlike that are constantly being pitched at us for this or that purpose.. Flying insect sprays, deodorant sprays and so on.. I stay away from all that stuff myself. LOLOL I never heard of anybody dying from the smell of sweat... or from having a few odd flies wandering around the house.
Anyway, Hashimoto's Disease is certainly a real condition, and I imagine you could probably get a lot of information about it off the internet.

my daughter was diagnosed in her early twenties
her hair was brittle and had palpitations
blood work revealed the dx
and she has been on synthriod since
i was surprised because it generally strikes women in their 50's
it is an autoimmune disease in which in simple terms as follows
antigens in the body attack the thyroid gland

Hi! I have 3 females (Mom, 2 aunts) with Hashimoto's and 2 other aunts with Grave's. I have both Grave's and Hashimoto's ... lucky me!! Autoimmune, hereditary, and we even have other autoimmune hereditary illnesses, too.

I'm pretty sure it's not the environment or lifestyle where I am concerned. We have hereditary bad gall bladders, heredity keloids, hereditary hives, hereditary holes in the heart, hereditary scoliosis, hereditary allergies and intolerances, and hereditary anemia. It's just a family thing! At least we have no hereditary cancer!

it sounds like you also have hypochondria or a similar disorder.. why can't the Lupus be the explanation for your symptoms---why do you need to add a whole bunch of other labels
